C9-L3

Strangely, I actually feel refreshing that I'm now officially C9-L3 Permanent.
Oh, that’s one of our army medical status.

就是有一种新鲜感。

This can be translated to :
..... Servicemen not required to take IPPT/RT.
..... Fit for operational duties at Bases only.
..... Not fit for field duties / exercises.

This verdict comes when I haven't even started my reservist yet. Mm..
Oh, not that I'm so looking forward to it, but... I'm just feeling a little different.

就是感觉有一点与众不同。

Somehow, I am now more determined to exercise, although in theory I can eat all I can, even until my figure expanded till beyond recognition. :P

在运动方面,我反而多了一点推动力。

Hi -Zai-,

Why? You also want to "keng" ah? Haha..

The general procedure (after a serious-enough injury) would be..

1. Call up my army unit
2. book an appointment with my unit MO
3. get a note (recommending downgrading) from my doctor
4. show MO all the medical documents (of my injury, in my case : my right shoulder)
5. MO will put up my name to the medical board
6. Wait for the verdict to be passed

My current doc was working with the medical board of our army before. He did mention that, if a specialist were to suggest a downgrade, the medical board is rather unlikely to challenge that decision.

The fact remains : after the kind of injury I had, my right shoulder will never be the same as before, in medical terms, that is.

No worries man, I can be downgraded, yet stronger. I running more and more, further and further.. :o)
