War – A Little Thought

While most of us are working, studying, having a life at the comfort of our office, home or wherever, some parts of the world are struggling to get by because of war.

They may have their “valid” reasons to fight. The entire population is then dragged in, playing a role in the effort either directly or indirectly. Most commonly, suffering is common place. And in some days or months – and I hope not years – to come, the battle will end, and a “winner” will emerge.
Mm.. Will there be a “winner”? Who’s winning and who’s losing?

常言道:一将成名万骨枯。
Heh...

I so believe human beings are peace-loving by nature.
However,
- to protect some political/personal interests the idea of defensive measures is drawn.
- to demonstrate we also have the capability, the idea of offensive tactics is in place.
- to get even what’s not so pleasant, the action of aggressive plans is carried out.

Still, I believe human beings are peace-loving in nature. Just that (too) many are susceptible to many “external or internal factors” and subsequently changed the course of actions – to fight it out. Are we equally susceptible to factors gearing us towards a battle-mood (battle in the most generic sense)? Sad...

彼方正处烽火连天,心惊胆颤而致无法入眠;
此处似乎太平顺日,欢乐尽享也常刻意少眠。
咳...

人生顶多活百年,何须水火难容、干戈来相见;

(So, there are reasons why things are happening "this" way. Mm.. )
